What gets me though is the lack of media attention to the Paralympics.
Last night I was watching the news and they mentioned one paralympic and a horrific crash she had with her wheelchair. They didn’t show a news clip or anything… just 5 seconds of mention and that was it.
Damn shame.
I would have loved to here the whole story.
To me, these folks have it a hell of a lot tougher than the rest of us.
It is truely inspirational what they do day in day out.
Damn media. If they feel the public isn’t interested they won’t give it the light of day. Azzholes.
